FAQ's

Do you take insurance?

Beginning January 2026, we anticipate accepting Medicaid.

We also offer private-pay sessions at $150 per session and can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance.

What if it is too hot or too cold?

Camps will be help outside through most weather. We won't stop for snow or rain, so dress prepared. The goal of Camp PT is to fully embrace and enjoy the outdoors in all it has to offer.

That being said, if the weather is extreme and unsafe, there will be an indoor location specified upon sign up and you will be notified ahead of time if your session will be moved inside.

Is my kid appropriate for this program?

Camp PT has a variety of locations each with a different activity. Most are appropriate for kids with any physical disabilities. If there are any physical requirements needed for a specific camp it will be specified in the camp information on the upcoming camps page.

What time is my child's session?

Please complete the registration with the time of day that works best for you. However, registration will be confirmed via phone or email with final camp time confirmed then.

What do we need to bring?

Camp PT provides the appropriate sporting gear if needed. This could include hiking poles, kayak, PFD (lifevest), etc.

You are responsible for making sure your child is prepared for the activity. That may include bringing: walker, braces, wheelchair, hat, sunscreen, jacket, sunglasses, etc.

Is this group or 1:1?

Each session is a 1:1 physical therapy session. You child will receive highly-skilled physical therapy one on one with the therapist in a engaging, outdoor environment.

What if I don't see an activity I want for my kid?

If there is a specific activity you would like your kid to do and don't see it, feel free to contact Camp PT and we will see if it is possible to add your desired activity.
